Street Library

Take a Book. Share a Book. Put a Book back in! That is what the Street Library is about. Enjoying literature is an important part of many people's feeling of wellbeing.

Feel free to keep a book if you have enjoyed it, or place it back within our library for someone else to enjoy.

Replace that book with another if at all possible. Anything from Children's, Teenager's and Adult books. Even magazines and cook books.

There are no costs, no timeframes of when books need to be returned, and no rules, except please do not place inappropriate material in the library - this service is for readers of all ages.

Any donations of books for any ages will be appreciated. Just deliver them to the front office or place them within the Street Library which is located on the front fence of the Neighbourhood House at 34 Alma Street in St Arnaud.

We provide this service to ensure that all local residents are able to access literature without charges, registrations or loan periods.
