Duration: 2 hours per week for 10 weeks

Want to learn how to cook basic meals? - Meet new friends and cook up a storm!
Want to learn basic budgeting and shopping skills? - Then come along and join our basic cooking class!

Whatever you prepare, you eat, it is a fun filled group activity with the added bonus of learning new skills.
This course targets students of any age with low-level education or disabilities. Through this course students will gain confidence and basic skills along with team-building skills, OH&S Awareness in the home and in the workplace, basic food preparation, presentation in the area of hygeine practices, and reading and writing skills.

This course could lead to students doing other pre-accredited courses in the areas of retail and customer service, and possibly lead to employment in food processing, kitchens or hospitality.

Casual attendance is also possible - come and have lunch and see what the program is all about
